How Our Remap Procedure Works

A structured workflow gives stable gains, safer temperatures, and reliable drivability.

This page explains our complete remap procedure: ECU reading, calibration strategy, validation, and safe write-back. We work with common workshop tools like KESS, MPPS, and Autotuner for reading and writing, depending on ECU protocol.

Before performance changes, we check file integrity, software version, and compatibility so the final map is consistent with your hardware and use case. Common ECU families include Bosch EDC16/EDC17, Denso and Delphi.

TDI Remap Focus (VAG Group)

A large part of our daily workflow is dedicated to VW TDI, Audi TDI, Skoda TDI and Seat TDI platforms. We calibrate torque, boost and smoke control maps based on hardware condition and ECU generation. See full supported makes and ECU families on the Brands and ECU Families page.

Remap procedure overview

Core procedure checkpoints:

Remap Workflow Steps

ECU read with KESS MPPS Autotuner

Step 1

ECU identification and original file read
ECU is identified by hardware/software version, then the original file is read using KESS, MPPS, or Autotuner in the correct protocol mode.
ECU map editing and calibration step

Step 2

Map calibration and limiter strategy
Fuel, boost, torque request, smoke control, and protection maps are calibrated for a balanced power increase without unstable behavior.
Validation logs and quality checks

Step 3

Validation, checksum, and log review
Modified file is validated with checksum tools and reviewed against log targets to confirm safe boost, rail pressure, and temperature behavior.
Final flash and revision support

Step 4

Safe write-back and post-flash support
You receive the final file, flashing guidance, and revision support based on new logs after road test verification.
